Autograph letter signed, dated : London, 8 August 1833, to G[aetano] Rossi, 1833 Aug. 8.

Saying that Rossi's letter with "No. 9835" of 8 July only just arrived because it was addressed to Paris, adding that he would be doubly happy to see "la bella Italia" again, that, if Rossi wishes to negotiate with the management of the Fenice theatre in Venice for Vaccai to compose an opera for Carnival 1834-35, Vaccai asks 6,000 francs, that if Rossi arranges something with La Scala Vaccai could make a small change in the conditions, and adding that if Rossi writes after mid-October the replies will be delayed since Vaccai will be in Scotland and Ireland.
